Kamarah "AKila K." Rice is a multidisciplinary visual artist, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and audio engineer whose work blends technical precision with authentic storytelling. A Brooklyn, NY native and graduate of Delaware State University with a B.A. in Mass Communications, she now serves clients throughout Long Island and New York City.
A lifelong musician, Kamarah plays piano, drums, and steelpan, performing with ADLIB Steel Orchestra while also leading the group's photography, videography, and digital content creation. Her creative journey began in audio engineering with Pro Tools and Logic Pro before expanding into visual media through Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and professional photography.
Since then, she has produced branding, photography, video, and design for organizations including the YMCA of Newark, Long Island's The Braiding Barber, BET personality Hennessy Carolina, and a growing roster of local businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists. From portraits and live events to brand campaigns and promotional content, Kamarah is known for creating compelling visuals that connect with audiences and elevate brands.
